I lived in Yreka for 7 years. There are many weird things that go on like the statues out past Grenada thatif you go at night and turn of your head lights the statues will move.

Ok I've had lots of things happen to me first I was in Evergreen cemetery about 1 / 2 way up and me and my friends saw some blue fire orbs on the graves and we got the hell out of there. Next in greenhorn Park there's an old house I looked in one day and some creepy lady screamed at me I jumped back and looked again and she was gone.

Rumor has it that there is a phooka living in greenhorn lake (so many people have died suimming in there I'm not supprised. ) lastly there's the camel tracks I was staying there with some friends and I was taking a shower when I hear someone say leave.
I thought it was one of my friends playing a joke when I looked there was a Indian man standing there he looked mad then he just vanished. I found out later from another friend of mine that the camel tracks is built on top of an Indian burial ground!! If anyone has more info about the witch could you please let me know.

Comment by Moe: Well it's called the ''Cambell Tract'' it's consider part of the Karuk Indian lands. Houses are most likely to be built on many grave sites. Just a few miles away is the old Chinese cemetery. Very creepy. In fact I get the creeps I soon as I enter that old mining town.
