I check the outside air but no, there's no smoke smell outside. This happens about once a month. It's been going on ever since I moved in. The previous owner did tell me about the fire but said nothing about the haunting.
I guess I know why I got a good deal. I would feel bad selling it to someone else, just passing this on to someone else. I would like to make this stop somehow but I don't know what to do.

Comment by Blue: Maybe a priest or an energy healer can come and release / remind the hurt soul that fire is over, that time has moved, and that she is now free and released to join her friends and family on the other side in peace rest and harmony. You as the new owner of the home should thank her for sharing the foundation of the home and wish her well in her life journey too! Seek a local energy healer who can do this with love and compassion. Best wishes!.
