Wahiawa, Hawaii Ghost Tales | |

|
I lived in Schofield Barracks in one of the older houses, not duplexes, that were built in the 1940's. The first couple nights in the house we experienced nothing. The third night I woke up see the smoky appearance of a Shaman Hawaiian Indian person floating horizontally parallel to my sleeping husband. The apparition acknowledged me and than sucked back to a point and was gone. We never saw the ghost again, but when a friend of ours house sited for us during leave he experienced the same thing without us telling him about our experience. He described the ghost as Incan Medicine Man Indian like. Another Ghost that never really scared us just freaked us out a few times was a little girl that you could never catch straight on, but only out of the corner of your eye. I would be in the kitchen washing dishes and would hear the little pitter patter of feet and the feeling that someone was watching me. I'd turn around expecting to see my daughter but no one would be there. One night while in bed I woke up to hear the running of little feet

around my bed. Once again it wasn't our daughter. I woke up my husband alarmed and he woke up in time to watch my daughters rather large ball role around to the other side of our bed. The windows were shut, so it wasn't the wind. We slept with our bathroom light on the rest of the night. Eventually I got use to the strange activity of toys going

off for no reason in the night and the feeling that someone was behind you and didn't notice it as much before we moved. Submitted by anonymous Categories: home, sounds, native_american
I was in class at wheeler middle on wheeler in Oahu when I heard a voice whisper ''I hate Natzimi'' I asked my friend but it wasn't her then when I looked up towards the front of the class I saw a girl with a hospital gown or a dress and long wet black hair and no feet. Then I got home and went to bed and I had a nightmare of her where she was jus looking at me then I felt like she grabbed my face and I woke up....a month later I was cooking in my house and then I got up and I saw her sitting in my dining room. I am still scared!. Submitted by Natzimi Categories: school, home, girls
I was visiting a friend living in Wahiawa in August, 1994. One night, I awoke to see a very large man sitting Indian-style on the floor at the foot of the bed, facing sideways

from me. At first, I was half-asleep and thought he was looking into my suitcase but then realized it was an apparition. I looked around, thinking my friend was pulling a Disney trick on me. The man started to turn his head to look at me. I could see he was obviously Hawaiian, about 400 lbs, bushy black, shoulder-length hair with a ti leaf lei on his head, red loincloth, no shirt. I thought maybe I should not make eye contact so I looked away and then saw an another apparition of a tiki statue so I looked back at him and tried to wake up my husband. He was more dead then the ghost, so I did all I could to verify I was really awake and looked right at the ghost, who then glared at me. Then, the background flashed in, not transparent, but like holographic, I saw a man in the distance wearing a warrior's headdress, red loincloth, standing by a large chair that I thought looked like a throne. I held my eyes open and watched it all fade away and dissipate back to nothing more than the bedroom. After we left, my friend had the house ''blessed''.
