A figure with a skeleton face sporting shadowy robes is frequently perceived staring furiously at the bystander in Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park quite near the park headquarters. A drifting ghost has been said to have been perceived on many instances around midnight hurrying after a passing vehicle on a gloomy highway near Waikoloa. The ghost of an airliner pilot may often be observed mowing the lawn in the garden of a flat in Waikoloa.
