I stared at the woman dressed in black hoping to get her to look in my direction. I couldn't see her face because it was covered with a black veil. Her head was turned like she was looking upstairs towards a two story house across the street. When I proceeded to drive across the intersection I turned to look at her again but she had disappeared.

saw the woman dressed in black. I asked him if he had seen that same woman before. He denied ever seeing that woman in black but he heard that one of

our other friends saw the same woman I described to him. He said our friends were watching television one night in their living room when a woman standing outside looking at them through the picture window. When they went outside to investigate, the woman had disappeared. .

The plantation in Waipahu (that I do not doubt is haunted) is a replica of plantation homes. No one has ever really lived there nor have those houses been used. For one thing in old plantation days the houses of the different enthnicities would not be next to each other.
