Chiloquin, Oregon Ghost Tales When I was younger we lived outside of Chiloquin in Bray Mill, and I have NEVER been to such a creepy, haunted place in my life. We would hear old music playing at night, hear people talking when no one was there, hear people walking around upstairs when we were all down stairs, and once I looked out the dining room window and saw a face looking back at me from the window of an old abandoned cabin that was next door. No matter where we went in Bray Mill we felt like we were being watched. It was an awful place to be left alone at even during a bright summer day, and in the winter there were flies everywhere... even in four feet of snow. That place is just wrong. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a grower in a worn straw hat has regularly been witnessed concealing a corpse by a sizeable boulder in Collier Memorial State Park in the early morning hours before sunrise. A youthful girl dressed in a blood-covered   wedding gown is often made out tossing bricks in Collier Memorial State Park outside the ranger station. Several of the people who live here allege this phantom takes pleasure in scaring unwise people who are courageous enough to interrupt the tranquility in Chiloquin.
