Coos Bay, Oregon Ghost Tales | |
|
I lived on Noble ave. inCoos bay right near Madison gradeschool and Sunset middle school. Our home was haunted haunted haunted. My dads family moved there from the Fiji islands in the 70's. We lived there while my parents took care of my grandparents. Then both grandparents died in the home. There was one big room in the back called the red room. Everything was red walls and carpet. That is where all the activity would happen the most. My older sister slept in that room and some nights she would wake up to a being hovering over the top of her and strange growling noises. When we bagan to remodel the contractors found objects and bones in the walls that they refused to talk about.
When I would go to sleep in my room I would hear someone or thing walking, pacing down the halls, some nights when I was almost alseep something would tug at my blankets slowing, inch by inch, until I would finally jump up and run to my parents room which was not any better. One night my mother woke up to my father's mother strangling her with a sinister grin, reaching

her hand down my moms throat. She finally woke my dad up with her kicks, but he didnt see anything. Then once my sister was sleeping on the living room couch when the rocking chair in the middle of the living room began to rock and a woman in my grandmothers knitted sweater was sitting in it, facing out the window... We moved soon after, not because

I have a spirit haunting my house out on Red Dyke rd. just off of Libby. My house was build in the 1920. I've been here 3 years and experienced my paranormal phenomena. Submitted by Sonia Category: home
I for a period of time lived in the Ken Keyes (spelling?) building on what I believe was on Commercial Ave. The third floor of that building is haunted... I know it is. There is a strong feeling of a presence in the stairwell at the end of the second floor that leads up to the 3rd. I slept on the second floor and when I would go up to the 3rd floor I had an overwhelming urge to run yet I was short of breath. Also, at night you would hear running back on forth on the 3rd floor when no one was up there. I was told that when that building was a hospital, there was a doctor who was known to chase the nurses in a playful fashion. I was never able to get concrete evidence on this. Submitted
