Creswell, Oregon Ghost Tales | |

I was driving south bound on I5 and came up on the Creswell exit through the fog. In the fog I saw a faint light and as I the fog cleared I realized that the light was from a latern that was being held by a woman who was dressed in an outfit that I describe as Little House on the Prairie. She had a shawl, an apron and a bonnet on as well. She looked directly at me and courtsied. That's when I noticed that the light from what I assumed was a motorcycle that had been following me for several miles just disappeared into thin air. When I glanced into my side view mirror and then back at the woman both the light and the woman were gone. She was not covered in blood or dragging a body. Quite the opposite actually. She was very peaceful and put me at ease. Contrary to the other sightings I don't believe this ghost had ill intent.

In the daytime you might assume Creswell, Oregon is just the same as any other municipality, but this municipality is ruled by undeparted ghosts of the olden days.

Night time is undeceased time around here. Some people who live here allege there are no phantoms, but the things that go on here in Creswell during the night time will spook you.

a hat in a Creswell apartment. The ghost acknowledged the presence of the witness.
The spirit of a youthful female wearing a blood-splattered wedding gown was witnessed flashing a flash light by Snow Slough. When the ghost was made out it disappeared into the thin air. A local person declares that this ghost is the undeparted spirit of a former Creswell local resident.
A decapitated female was noticed thinking in Camas Swale before dawn. Panicked by the watchers the ghost withdrew into the night. Some people claim this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while driving through Creswell a long time ago.
The ghost of an eleven foot high massive guy has regularly been spotted startling folks mid stream in Bear Creek. It's been declared that this particular spirit likes scaring foolhardy people who have the nerve to disrupt the silence in Creswell.
The ghost of a teen girl is regularly made out pushing orbs about up on the summit of Cougar Mountain. One thing is for sure, this ghost sure is terrifying;
