The ghost of a young woman in a blood-covered prom dress is now and then perceived watching TV in a Deadwood living room at midnight.
A decapitated woman has been said to have been perceived on numerous occasions gazing at the view from the top of Elk Mountain very late at night. Several of those who live here declare this spirit is almost certainly the stressed spirit of a local person who used to dwell here in Deadwood. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a bloodcurdling phantom that any commonsensical person wouldn't wish to come across.
