Eugene, Oregon Ghost Tales In the summer of 2001, while living in the Woodland Apartment on Coberg Rd, I saw the face of a beautiful woman ''float'' about 1 foot, from ceiling to floor, in my bedroom. It lasted for only about 2 seconds. I was taken aback and jumped just a little bit, but I distinctly remember that I was never scared at that moment. An instant overwhelming sense of peace came over me. I just automatically thought to myself, ''she's gentle'' and that there was ''no need to be scared.'' She was gentle and had no intention of harming me. That is exactly what I sensed at that moment. This was not a flash in the corner of my eye, the woman's face was very detailed. I'll never forget it as long as I live. She may just have been my guardian angel. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a   young-looking air force pilot may repeatedly be observed striding through a flat in Eugene. People argue that this ghost is almost certainly the undeceased ghost of a resident who used to reside here in Eugene. In any case, it sure is a scary ghost that you wouldn't want to come across at midnight. A lady with a bottle-green face can be seen very often up on the top of Bailey Hill glugging down water. No matter what folks articulate, this is a horrible ghost that any wise person wouldn't want to run into. The phantom of a delivery man has every so often been observed smoking a pipe down at the waterfront at City View Reservoir. A feminine character is occasionally noticed conversing into the night in Skinners Bar around midnight. The ghost of a gentleman clutching a sword has purportedly been noticed on frequent occasions trying to locate a man in the center of Coyote Creek. Either way, it's a bloodcurdling phantom that should be shunned. The phantom of a woman with a name carved into her nose was noticed scrambling out of Dedrick Slough soaked in slime very late at night. When the ghost was spotted it faded away into the air. One of the folks who live here firmly alleges that this ghost is the stressed soul of a long gone Eugene local resident.
