to do with it. She told me she found out the houses in that neighborhood had been built over an old Native American burial ground, but I've never checked into that.

Where do I even start? My last apartment was creepy it was just off Willamette Street. The building was built in the fifties and had seen its fair share of residents over the years. The last guy who lived in my specific apartment had become extremely and thoroughly isolated. He wound up dead, and nobody in the complex knew until two weeks later. The body was found in what used to be my bed room. His spirit was angry. It never spoke to me directly, but it would throw things around in the bathroom. It slammed doors, and there was no reasoning with it. I experienced a cavalcade of weirdness including phantoms running across my bedroom knocks at the door in the middle of the night when the streets were empty. Chairs would be rocking by themselves.
Books were shifting on the shelves and in more extreme cases yanking on mine or my partner at the times shirt. He would sometimes sit at the edge of my bed pulling on my sheets and blankets. I stopped using sage after I realized it wasn't going to go away. The worst thing we did was give it a name. I learned over time how to ignore the weirdness. I warned my visitors not to interact and if anything weird happened to let me know.
It was scary, but it wasn't the first time I lived in a place with poltergeist activity. At least I wasn't the only witness. Every town has its ghosts, its secret, and little stories that don't show up in most books. This apartment was off of Willamette not far from the vets club. I made it out with not too many scars and am so thankful to live in a place where the worst thing that ever happened was when the last guy got attacked by an axe. True story. Thank you for reading. .

Phantom Jogger along the bike path heading north past VRC along the River Road side. Near the end of it before it turns into a residential street. This is a barka mulch running trail. Along this trail if you happen to be walking it late at night, you may have a chance to encounter with a phantom jogger. He runs a distance and disappears. In this same area technology can act very odd. My phone with a lock screen unlocked and started playing music. I've always had odd feelings about this area. It has an almost oppressive air to it.
