Gaston, Oregon Ghost Tales


You may perhaps imagine that Gaston, Oregon is exactly like any other town in the United States, but there are strange things occurring in this town in the moonlight hours. Some of the passed away will not stay underground in this town. Folks who have never spent a night in this town will tell you it's lies, but with so many spirits in Gaston you have a quite nice chance of noticing one if you spend a night here.

The ghost of a man with letters carved into his hand is every now and then made out at Ayers Creek at night throwing pieces of wood into the flowing water. Residents who have noticed this ghost say this ghost is the stressed soul of a long departed Gaston local.

The ghost of an awfully mangled huntsman pulling a dead wolf has been witnessed on several occasions in Patton Valley late at night howling at the viewer to be off.

The phantom of a young-looking female with a line around her neck has frequently been observed chucking pieces of wood beside the water at Bodeen Lake.

An unbelievably scary ghost is frequently perceived up on the highest spot of Alecs Butte stacking pieces of wood.

The phantom of an
  elderly prospector with a large mustache and a hook instead of his right hand has been said to have been perceived on several occasions gazing over Garrish Valley at night.

The spirit of a flight attendant can be distinguished frequently gazing at a woman snoozing on a couch in a home in Gaston. One thing's for sure, this spirit undoubtedly is terrifying; one that any reasonable person wouldn't want to encounter.

The phantom of an aged Indian chief has every now and then been perceived sipping motor oil in Bald Peak State Park around midnight. People here assert that this spirit is the spirit of a vacationer that was killed while driving through Gaston some decades ago.

A black bat that transformed into a female has been said to have been distinguished on a few occasions in Bald Peak State Park near the park headquarters smoking a cigar.

The spirit of a down-and-out gentleman can from time to time be made out in a store in the Gaston neighborhood. Anyway, this is an intimidating ghost that you shouldn't go looking for.
