Gresham, Oregon Ghost Tales The Gresham, Oregon home I grew up in is haunted. Not by anything frightening, but definintely someone. All my life; when downstairs, you could hear footsteps upstairs, walking from one end of the house to the other- back and forth. No one in my family ever believed me until after my dad passed away, and my mom was home alone and heard the footsteps. I was in grade school when sommething got physically moved. I was not in the room at the time, but something I had placed on my bed just before walking out of my bedroom was on my desk when I came back a few minutes later. I was the only person in the house at the time. In middle school, a friend and I were working on a science project downstairs: all the lights, the computer and the radio(or t. V. ?) were all on. My mom was home sick from work, and we were returning downstairs after lunch to get back to our project and my friend reached the bottom of the stairs, screamed, and ran back up saying she saw someone jump over the couch away from her to hide as she was turning into the basement. When       my son was a toddler, one evening, he stood near the front door, looking into the hallway, staring- carrying on a conversation with someone no one else could see. My husband claims to have seen a very pretty woman in the house once. I would like to know who this person, or people were. My mom sold the house about 3 years ago, as it was too big   for just her to live there. The spirit of a civil war warrior may from time to time be distinguished late at night fluttering across Sunshine Valley. The spirit of a seriously scorched female has frequently been made out snooping in mailboxes in the early morning hours in Gresham.
