The ghost of a doctor with a bloody uniform is every now and       then observed heaving boulders into the flow at Baldock Slough late at night. A female with her head and both arms chopped off has been said to have been spotted on several occasions covering a body by a sizeable rock in Ebell Picnic Area in the early morning hours before sunrise. One thing's for sure, it is certainly a terrifying phantom that   any sane person would not want to come across. An armed forces uniform marching about with no body in it can sometimes be seen soaring over North Powder Valley late at night. Folks here declare that this phantom is perhaps the undeparted phantom of a person who used to dwell here in Haines.
