Hood River, Oregon Ghost Tales I was staying at the Hood River Motel Downtown in March of 2009 I saw a Ghost in the Elevator at about 11:00 pm on a Friday night. I live near Salem Oregon and was working in the area for a week. The Motel was downtown on a corner in an old brick building. I just had brought down the luggage cart and was about to go back up to my room. When the elevator was coming down I looked in the little window on the door of the elevator and I saw a little girl probably between 9 and 11 years old she was a young Caucasian female with long straight brown hair, she was by herself standing on the right side of the elevator as I was looking in. I stepped back as the elevator came down. 2 seconds later I opened the door and the Elevator was empty. When I got in the elevator to go up it was cool and I got goose bumps with the sense of a spirit in tn the elevator with me. I was not drinking. . The ghost of a young Indian fighter has every now and then been noticed up on the highest spot of Davidson Hill glugging down blood from a beaker. The ghost of a strong lumberjack carrying a large axe is every so often perceived mounted on a steed by the side of a highway in the neighborhood of Hood River. Well, this ghost undeniably is terrifying; one that you shouldn't go trying to find. The creepy ghost of a Gaul is known to have been distinguished on frequent occasions looking at the water by Powerdale Dam at night. A guy that shifted shape into a vampire can occasionally be spotted pulling a dead body over the grass in Coe Park at the stroke of midnight. One of the locals strongly says that this spirit loves scaring foolhardy people who are fearless enough to disturb the quiet in Hood River. The ghost of a pregnant woman was seen talking into the air in the center of Alder Brook. Other folks around here have had comparable occurrences with the same ghost. A number of of the folks here argue this ghost likes frightening unwise people who come looking for ghosts in Hood River. In any event, this is an intimidating ghost that should be steered clear of.
