A number of people who live here allege there are no ghosts, but the things that go on here in Kerby in the night time will give you a good scare. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The       ghost of an aged gold digger with a big beard and a wooden right leg was observed in Illinois River Forks State Park at midnight scaring folks. When the phantom was witnessed it faded away into the thin   air. In any case, it is certainly a bloodcurdling ghost that is preferably not interrupted. The ghost of an elderly lady grasping a firearm emerged by East Fork Illinois River redistributing orbs around. The spirit was swallowed by the thin air after being perceived. A local woman asserts that this ghost is that of a resident who existed here in Kerby some time ago. The ghost of a flight attendant was spotted going through a refrigerator in the kitchen of a Kerby apartment late in the night. Scared by the witnesses the phantom faded away into the dark. Regardless of what folks state, this is an unlikable ghost that you would not want to meet at midnight. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief was distinguished having a seat at a table in a Kerby trailer. When noticed the ghost came near the eye witness who then fled. Several of the people who live here claim this phantom likes startling unwise people who come seeking phantoms in Kerby.
