Lebanon, Oregon Ghost Tales | |
|
I lived In Lebanon for 3 Years behind The skating rink and every night at 1 o clock you could see a old ghost family of poor beggars and you can faintly hear the clinking their coin cans until the break of dawn. That is when the noise would stop and their shadows would disappear. Submitted by Lindsey Category: family
I was doing some parnormal research at Oregon State University next to Sackett Hall because the Haunted Index for Oregon said it is haunted and it is. I just stood outside for about five minutes quietly not saying anything or making and noise. Just in front of me a girl about 12 years old walks up to me wearing really old fashioned clothing like you could see from the 1950's wearing very bright white bonnet and bouquet of flowers in her hand. She smiled at me but didn't say anything. You could see her because there was no moon out that night. You could also see through her. I turned away for a moment and looked back and she had vanished. I lived in a house on filbert st. for 4 years in the 1990's that was haunted. My family, as well as many friends & even my current wife, witnessed many bizzare incidents. A blonde haired ghost that would walk by my bedroom window [bedroom was a converted garage] or stand on our front porch. We would wake up some mornings to my mothers porceline knick-knacks all laying face down on our hardwood floors [wouldn't they break if they fell?]. A ''flip'' style lock on my door would lock and unlock all by itself while we watched. My radio would change to AM 30's style music everytime I left the room. The list goes on and on...After a few years there we did some investigating and found out that a previous owner had died while remodeling the garage into a bedroom. We also discovered that every couple/family who had lived there after his death, had split up by the time they moved out. And guess

what? my family seperated the same way as the rest. Can't remember the exact address, but it's middle of the block, has cement planters in front, next door to a ''cabin-ish'' looking home. Front door used to be all stained glass....Go check it out!
