A fairly transparent gentleman dressed as the skipper of a boat is rumored to have been witnessed on a handful of instances enjoying the view at Herman Nusbaum Dam around midnight. Folks here assert that this ghost is probably the undead ghost of a resident who used to have a home here in Monroe.
