O Brien, Oregon Ghost Tales Not quite O'brien but just outside Gateway State Wayside on the California side my travel partner and are sure we saw what looked like four men standing at ease in military uniforms in a pulloff.  They didn't move at all; just stared straight forward.  We were driving pretty slowly because we were trying to snap a picture of the impending 'Welcome to Oregon' sign (we were driving cross-country).  It was very dark and there was no one around at all so we could drive slowly (it was about 9pm or so). We sped up to get away from whatever it was we saw and sure enough the next pull off was the Welcome to Oregon sign.  We snapped a very quick pic and drove on. Submitted by T.
