Oakland, Oregon Ghost Tales I was on a tour in portland on the uss blue back and at the end of the tour a lady asked the guide if there was anybody who was in a navy uniform wth a tan navy cap up on the level. The tour guide said everyone who worked on the sub wore the wight OMSI unforms on the sub. The lady said she saw the man through a looking space through the floor. She also said he was reading[flipping through] of what lookd like a blue sub hand guid while sitting in a chair. He got up then walked off with the hand book and didn't come back. The tour guid told her that there had been some reports of ghosts on the sub. Things go on here that can't be   explained by science. People who have never stayed overnight in this town will laugh and say it's all myths, but the stressed souls of Oakland are all too real. If you talk to the folks who live here, this ghost enjoys terrifying foolish folks who come looking for ghosts in Oakland. A lady with a somewhat see-through body can now and then be spotted checking out Blackberry Canyon in detail before dawn. The phantom of a man sporting a sheriff outfit was perceived flinging boulders into Fords Pond before dawn. This ghost is very active in this area; there have been many other reports of this exact ghost.
