I was a young child growing up on East First Street. I moved to Oakridge when I was five and left at age ten. I discovered as an adult that the power lines that ran behind the house in the alley caused me to see things that were not there. I went back when I was 30, and sure enough the same ghost I always saw which was an Indian with a long plain headdress. He chased me after school many times. Was funny to know it was just something out of the mind that never existed. I loved Oakridge as it was in the early 1960s. Yes I was there for the 1964 flood and watched the bridge over Salmon Creek give way.

There is a railroad tunnel that had a man die in the process of it. At night you can see his lantern swaying, beggin you to follow it.
