My daughter bought a home in Portland across from cemetery, an older home 1909 and the first night there we sleep on floor and I awoke to see a little girl aprox 5-6 yrs old with blonde hair and black & white check dress sitting down looking at us sleep (she was focused on our 6 yr old sound asleeep). I thought it was a dream and fell back alseep then awoke again to her still sitting & lookig at out lil one still asleep. I was so confussed if I was dreaming or what, next day former owner confirmed ghost but had never seen on heard or felt presence. Also look at orb in pic taken prior to purchase of the home 2009.

Since we've moved into this new apartment in southwest Portland, my dog has been acting like he can see a ghost, or ghosts. I've found him staring off into corners, or otherwise empty, open spaces. Sometimes he omits a long, low growl, but usually he just stares intently, unwavering, for over a minute. Of course once I find him I don't know how long he's been sitting there staring. He never did this at our old place, he is a young, grinning, energetic dog who is either playing or snoozing. Of course now I think I feel a presence sometimes or hear feet shuffling down the hall as well. But that might just be because my dog brought up my attention!. My friend was having twins at Portland Providence Hospital. I kept telling her that she should name the little girl Emilie...when the twins were born, the little girl had problems with breathing, and is still in care at the hospital. As I was leaving the hospital, I was drawn to a large picture on the wall of the nun who founded

the hospital, Emilie...I got goose bumps thinking that I had not been able to get Emilie's name out of my mind. I told my friend this today...she says that something was in her room last night at the hospital...she heard noise throughout the night. I think that Sister Emilie is guarding her and her little ones... Submitted by Deb Categories:

I recently visited the Portland home of a family who had lost their 18 year old son in 2006 due to a car accident. The mother grieved terribly the loss of her son, and the depression she had was very evident. She got up to walk to another area of the home, and when she walked back, mumbled something regarding her deceased son. When I looked at her, I saw the apparition of a young man, teenager age, with dark hair standing very close behind her. He looked at me and smiled. He had his hands gently placed on the mother's shoulders. I was stunned. When the mother sat down on the couch, the apparition continued - then sort of (for lack of a better term) blasted apart on the wall behind the couch. I was not scared or fearful. It seemed like this apparition was there to help and protect his grieving mother. I have always been blessed with second sight, but hate to admit it due to criticism. This sighting however, was very touching. Submitted by Suzy Categories: home, car_accident,
