My eldest sister was in the highland park with her friend Tamara and she was flipping on this pole in the fourth grade at the park. Breezy as she tells me that the a person ran towards her was an Indian yelling at her and he pushed her down when my sister started to yell. Her friend grabbed her arm and saw him running towards them. So if you think there is no ghost out there you are completely strange and have no idea how to open your mind to the outside world instead of actually believing the only world you know of so open your mind and let you eyes see the real people who walk around you from the olden times of Reedsport, its not hard to do give it a try.

A couple months ago, a friend and I traveled past the bridge towards Gardiner.?? We took a left, and headed down the trail. As we traveled farther, the forest rapidly became dense as if the hikers before had turned abruptly around and left like something was deterring them. We kept going, but I then became uneasy in my gut and

had an overwhelming feeling of sadness, almost as if I were about to cry. I ignored as best I could, but my friend didn't seem to have a problem. As we hiked, the trees coming into view were mostly dead and made an unsettling creaking noise.? There was a stench that got worse.? We then discovered a carcass that was followed by some more bones and two

more decomposing carcases.? We kept going, and then I heard something. I told my friend to stop talking, and we heard it again.? It sounded as if someone was in distress.? I called '' hello? are you okay? '' a few times but no one answered.? My friend said he didn't hear anything.? We kept going in hope of finding somebody, but we didn't.? I shrugged it off, and we headed forward.? We saw a few steps and what looked like a muddy trail and some animal tracks and headed up the the steep hill.? We saw some machete or ax marks in trees, like someone had marked a trail.? We followed the cuts as we approached the hill's peak.? We both heard branches crackle, other than the ones under our feet.? We then heard some kind of deep growl or moaning sound.? I then spotted movement to the side of us.? A large black figure then came into view and headed hastily towards us, but it? was blocked by some brush.? As we ran, I attached my knife to my walking staff, assuming it could be a bear.? We headed hastily down the hill with a sixty pound backpack strapped

to my back.? As I stepped onto the trail, I tripped and got up next to what looked like a fallen grave stone.? My friend had ran ahead of me and I yelled for him to wait.? As I ran down the trail and caught up with him, we got back-to-back, and he walked fast forward as I walked backwards. We were still being stalked by the figure. We again heard the moan and ran as fast as we could. We made it out, but whatever resides there is still there, and I do not intend to find out what is on the peak of that large hill, and I never will.
A couple of months later, we came back to the entrance of the trail to show someone its location. There was a sign posted that said five-eights of a mile through the trail, sixteen people were massacred by Indians. I believe that horrible things took place in that forest and it is haunted. I suggest that you stay as far away from that place as possible and do not upset the forest's residents.
