D street cemetery is active with light orbs and kids that seem to poke at your low back as if they want you to turn around.

'This story is really true''. It happened back a little over a year ago during the summer of 2007. It was a Little past midnight and me and my friends were celebrating a friend birthday cruising around the back road to Independence. So it was about 2sh after midnight and we all decided to go on this road which loops around and connects to the same road we entered. This was our first time actually going on that road and we were just curious

about what was beyond that road. So we turned into this little parking lot which looks like it has few trails leading into the woods, which we found out it was a park a few days later. But anyways, we

decided to park there and have a few drinks talk about what boys like to talk about, the usual man talk. After a few beers one of the boys came up with this wild idea about this DARE game we all should play. This dare game was who had guts to walk into the woods by themselves, how long they can be in the woods and yell to see how far they are into the woods. So we all agreed to the dare game and played rock, paper ,scissors, and I was the 4th to go. It was about almost 3:00am (weird) and it was up to the 2nd person to go but then all of sudden one of the boys that was standing by the road by the entrance

shouted ''COP COP COP''. And we all ran to go see if he was lying or not cause this guy was a joker, and when we all went to go see if he was telling the truth we all believed him cause we can see the
head lights of a vehicle all the way on the other side of the loop. We stood there staring at the vehicle trying to see if it was a cop but then my best friend ''which has GOOD eye sight'' said ''that's
no cop, that's a van''. It was a van indeed but it was going real slow, about 10 mph. The distance from where we were to the van was about half a mile away but we can see it across the field, and it was
headed towards our way and picking up speed like they in a real hurry. So we stood there looking at it come towards us and one of the guys yelled ''lets go finish the game, its probably love birds looking
for a nice spot''. So as we headed back to our game, then we all heard honking of that van, like they were about to crash or if something got in their way. So we all stopped and looked at each other
and ran back to the road and looked to see what's going on, and as soon as we got by the road. No lights, no sound of a vehicle NOTHING, just dead silence, not even the sound of cricket chirping. This
gave ALL of us chills down the spine. This was weird cause there's only 2 ways in and out of this place, which we can see from were we were at both exits, and the van was in the middle of the loop where
there is no exits at all. So we thought the were in an accident or something, so all got into our cars in a hurry to go see what happened and by the time we started heading towards to were the van could
of possibly been at I told my friend to get the cell phone ready just in case there was an accident, so he did. There was two cars full of us and one SUV as well, and I was in the second car behind the
first car in front. We started going slow, everyone keeping an eye open for any lights, movements etc. By the time we got to the possible spot the van would of been I started to goose bumps and scared
sh*tless (sorry). And I can tell everybody in the car that I was in felt the same way I did. Then the car in front stopped in the middle of the road, the guys started getting out of their cars as well
as us. We all gather around in disbelief, looking around for any signs of people or anything which we never did see anything, no van no skid marks no nothing, just trees, bushes and gravel. One of the
guys yelled ''it was a F'n GHOST'', so EVERBODY got into the cars and we drove off in a real hurry, we were at least going 70 mph to the exit. We met up back at my friends house all excited jumping up
and down yelling ''what the hell just happened. Did we all really just see that van disappear in thin air''. That made us tell the story
to everyone we knew. Some believed us some didn't, a lot of them
started going there at night to see for themselves, which nothing happened when they went there. But I know what what I saw and goes for the ones who were there that night, and it was no illusion cause
all of us saw and witnessed the same thing. 11 of us saw the same thing. But the most chilling part of this story is that about 3-4 months ago on the news channel 8, we found out that a young girl was
murdered back on that same road in the 80s, and her body was never found till this very day. .
