Three different places. The first was a house directly across from Lancaster Mall on Center St. I lived there for a year when I was about 9 years old. The house was strange. It had a large glass wall inside of it, and I was playing in the living room when I felt the hair on my whole body stand on end. I turned and looked at the glass wall and saw the reflection of a little boy in a stripped Izod shirt. He was just staring at me. I gasped and covered my eyes, and when I looked again, he was gone. I saw him several times in that house.
Then one day my cousins came over, and we were playing in the back bedroom when I got that creepy feeling again. I looked in the closet and saw a red haired man with a red beard grinning an evil grin at me. His eyes were silver. No one else could see him. I covered my eyes and looked again, but he was still there, and still no one else saw him. The second encounter was at a house my parents bought in South Salem on Albert Drive. In this house we were horrified.
The first ghost I saw was an old woman walking down the hallway and into my parents' room. Several things happened there. The stereo would turn on and up by itself. The glass sliding door opened by itself. Toys would move across the floor. Any dogs we got all died of weird illness. The nightmares in that place were horrible. When we moved and rented it out. The new tenant didn't even move in yet. When she was painting she saw a woman come in the house out of the corner of her eye, and the woman said ''can you please keep it down?'' The tenant said ''yes, I'm so sorry. '' She turned to face the woman, and no one was there. She didn't move in.
Third was a house on 2nd Street in West Salem next to the cannery. This place the pictures fell off the walls. Food and dishes flew off the table. In the back room people constantly heard whispering in their ear while the tried to sleep. Salem is full of crazy haunted places. Howard Street has a bunch of little homes that used to be called Howard Court. My grandma lived in the largest home two stories. She had a ghost that wore a top hat and monocle like the Monopoly guy. She called him Mr. Miserly because she said ''when my oldest sister was small she played with the ghost, and he told her his name!.

I was face timing my best friend when there was a loud bang. I went to go see what it was. I brought out my Ouija board to contact the spirit. I asked if anyone was here, and the board replied with a yes. I asked it his/her name, and it said s-a-I-t-a-n. After that I threw the Ouija board in the fire, and the next day I packed up my things, and me and my family left. Still to this day my mom and dad don't know the terrors I was in, and no one will find out until now.
