The undeceased are in this town as the people who live here will advise you about. People who have never stayed overnight in this town will inform you it's all just superstition, but seeing is believing and if you spend a night here in Springfield, you may very well catch a glimpse of a ghost. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. An extremely bloodcurdling phantom can be observed time and again gazing down into the water at Osprey Bay around midnight. The ghost of an old prospector with a sizeable mustache and a hook instead of his right hand has occasionally been distinguished checking out Coryell Pass in detail       before dawn. The ghost of an aged lady holding a rifle is known to have been made out on frequent instances in 32nd Street Community Sports Park in the early morning hours before sunrise covering a cadaver by a sizeable boulder. The ghost of a waitress may every now and then be made out in the rear seat of a Jeep by the driver catching   a sight of the phantom in her rear view mirror after midnight.
