Sutherlin, Oregon Ghost Tales | |

I grew up in a house located in an area located near Bi-mart. I never saw anything, but was always kept up til 2 or 3 in the morning with the sensation something was standing directly over my bed, just inches away from my face. I confessed this to my father when I got older, and he told me about his experiences at this house as well as my Grandmothers and Great-Grandmothers experiences as well. He was woken up on occasion by a shadow figure that would come into his room and start talking to him. He was never really sure if it was real or a dream for a long time. My Grandmother had fallen asleep on the couch in the living room, when one night a man just ran out from the back room and started choking her. My Grandpa walked through the door and slammed it shut, but the man ran right through the door. Back in the 60's, my Great-uncle C. was killed by the logs on his truck breaking free and crushing him. Within the time that his accident was occuring, he walked into my Great-Grandmothers front door and told her and my Great-Grandfather that he

was not coming home again. Ever since, a big black figure has been spotted by numerous family members standing over her bed while she slept, bent over staring at her. Another instance was a time my dad was watching t.v. in his room and the phone began to ring. All of a sudden, a voice yelled out ''pick up the damn phone''. this startled my dad,

so he got up to investigate, just to find that both the doors were locked with their sliding dead bolts. On quite a few occasions, these dead bolts will miraculously lift themselves and slide over, locking the door from the inside with no way in other than kicking the door in.
