Asotin, Washington Ghost Tales Hells gate is in Lewiston and across the river. None of these stories have anything to do with Asotin. Now a real ghost story out of Asotin happened to me and my good friend Jake when we were down at the bird sanctuary around 1:30 in the morning. When leaving, our fire automatically put itself out, and was normal temperature. We had a decent sized fire and it just extinguished itself, describe that. There is a real paranormal activity that has happened in Asotin. I've also heard stories about ghost up the creek where the homesteads use to be. I've lived in this area for 10 years and that is the only paranormal thing that I have seen.
