Bayview Cemetery in Bellingham has a very old section that is home to ''Angel Eyes''. She is a monument headstone of a woman who was put to death on the grounds that she was a witch. Her spirit is said to wander along the front gates of the cemetery. A few feet down the hill from the angel, is the ''death bed''. it is also a monument. it is told by locals young and old that if you lie upon the top of it, you bring about your own death. there are reports of orbs floating above and around this stone. - Ghost picture submitted by Toni Johnson

The Bellingham Herald building has been haunted for sometime.  A lot of people have experienced the elevator stopping at the 3rd floor even though they pushed a button for another floor.  There is legend about Fred the elevator operator.  Sometimes even though you don't push a button to use the old elevator, it still opens up to let you in.  There is a lot of creepy feelings on the 5th and 6th floor. I would like to learn more about the history of the building. It has been there since forever and I know there are some kinds of spirits there.

Sumas Washington- Back in the 1940's after the war a young man names Christopher James was up on Reese Hill road coming back into town after spending the whole day with friends at Silver Lake. It was late at night and raining really hard, one of those summer storms that sneak up on you when your in the Mountains, anyway, he was coming home hardly able to see in from of his motorcycle, when he came up

on Dead man's curb ( the locals call it that because it is sharper then it appears to be ) Unable to slow himself down at all because it was too late, he went off the road down the little cliff and hit a tree, killing him instantly. Every now and then, someone coming home at night will see a young man walking along side the road hitch hike, some see
a motorcycle flying around dead mans curb then disappearing And once in a while in Sumas Cemetery you'll see a young man kneeling at a grave, when you turn back, he's not there, but his helmet is, sitting right where head marker is. Sad story, a few of us have seen the ghost others just say its a story to keep kids from driving too fast.

5 Friends and myself (3 couples) decided to walk through Bayview last night. We parked at Whatcom Falls Park and walked through the woods on a trail which made the experience all the more scarier. Once at the cemetery, we visited Angel Eyes and the Death Bed. My 2 friends with cameras were snapping pictures and caught orbs in about 25% of the pictures they took. At one point I thought I saw a large dog-like creature running away from us, then it'd stop and id look closer and it would be a regular headstone, this happened about 3 times when walking between Angel eyes and the Deathbed. I dont
get scared, ever, the last time I was scared was when I was 13 watching a scary movie, I'm what you'd call a somewhat skeptic.. I long to be scared but it hasn't truly happened. Last night I was scared! Weather it was my eyes playing tricks on me, or something was actually happening I dont know, and I dont really care, but the fact that I got honestly scared was awesome.
