Brewster, Washington Ghost Tales

My mom grew up in Brewster.? My aunt lived right across the street from the hospital.? As a child visiting her house I was incredibly afraid of the basement.? Every time I went downstairs I felt as though a presence was following me up the stairs.? When I got older I began having recurring nightmares about the house and the spirit(s) there, they were the weirdest dreams I have ever had in my life.? Each time the nightmares would sort of start from where the last on left off, furthering the story.? On one of my visits when I was in my late teens I went into the Grandmother's room because I thought my cousin was still there, he had been staying in that room.? When I peeked in the chair was rocking and the TV was on.? The rocking chair was sitting directly in front of the TV.? At first I thought my cousin had just gotten out of the chair and gone to the bathroom, but something caught my eye and I kept looking.? The chair's rocking maintained a regular motion, it was not dissipating.? I realized I was seeing an otherworldly occurrence.? I did
not see any kind of ghost or smoke or anything.? Just the rocking chair rocking by itself and the TV on.? Another time I was down in the basement, which had bedrooms.? I was in one of the bedrooms trying to find my cousin's old comics and the door opened all by itself.? I actually wasn't scared, I said hi to the entity.? I knew it was not the wind,
nor did the door tend to do that, it was solid, I checked it just to make sure.? I definitely felt a presence.? I believe at least one of the spirit's that is in that house is not nice.? I think one of them was Grandma McLean who was a very sweet lady.? But there is something downstairs that still gives me goose bumps to this very moment.? Many strange events happened to me in that house, sicknesses, sleepwalking(which I've never otherwise been known to do), strange attitude changes came over me from time to time that were not normal for me, along with a very strong fear of the basement. I had many nightmares about that basement including one where a Mexican in the corner of the basement shot me with a shotgun and I actually died in my nightmare!? This is all the Gospel Truth, I swear it.
