I have not seen the ghosts here but have felt them and seen strange lights. One in between Valley and Chewelah, the other on the north end of Chewelah at my godmother's house. In the Valley area we were staying the night in the pasture in a tent.

During the day our horses wanted nothing to do with the area, they were spooked but we were set on this spot. That night while we were settling down for sleep, lights flashed on the tent wall. (we were up in the mountains on vast acreage away from the house).

They flashed again and again and we ended up sprinting for the house. At my godmother's house I had multiple occurrences in the upstairs. Mostly and very much of the time I felt watched. A lot. A heaviness always hung in the air when I felt their presence.
My hair would stand on end. One night I got into bed (I left the light on because I was feeling that presence). The very second I laid my head down the light went out!! I of course fled downstairs and told them I was afraid and sleeping on the couch.
Now from the couch you could see into the upstairs. As I lay my head covered I could hear a strange crinkling sound above my head like when you throw your keys into the air they make a sound like this or rustling through paper.
