Deer Park, Washington Ghost Tales I just moved into a house on Arnim Ave. in Deer Park. I first want to say I normally don't believe in this stuff. But I have NEVER experienced things like this before. Last night my bathroom door slowly opened and shut while I was inside brushing my teeth. I thought it was my husband, but he was snoring in the bedroom. The heater was not on and no windows were opened. Believe me, I checked! Yesterday when I got home, a candle in a glass vase that was normally on a high shelf 10ft from my kitchen was placed directly in the center of my kitchen floor. It weights at least 3lbs. Last week an empty pill       bottle was hurled across my kitchen while I was sitting watching tv in my living room. It didn't just fall off the counter; it ricocheted off several lower cabinets before resting on the floor. Again,   no windows open and no heat/ac on. Almost every night it sounds like there is a party in my home. There are constant footsteps, jiggling door knobs, and things falling off my kitchen counters. Again, no windows open, and no heat/ac on. I have even called a home inspector to check for mice, rats, or other critters in/under my home. NOTHING! Although I can't take this completely seriously, my 2-year-old son said ''Sally'' is in the hallway closet and there is a ''man'' his bedroom closet which he hasn't slept in since. That was 2 weeks ago. I NEVER put these words into his mouth and we don't know anyone named Sally. He has a very limited vocabulary, so for him to come up with this is weird. But he might just be afraid of the dark. I'm not sure. However, there are things going on that I can't explain. I know Deer Park has a lot of history. I only live 2 blocks off Main Street. Chairs jump around, shrieks coming out of nothing. Several residents assert there are no ghosts, but the ghosts of Deer Park are out tonight looking for somebody to freak out. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a street bum is sometimes seen pacing from house to house around midnight on a Deer Park lane. The phantom of a youthful woman soaked in blood has been spotted on a handful of instances carrying a human cranium in Arcadia Park before sunrise. A local resident asserts that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while passing through Deer Park long ago. The ghost of an old sorceress may every so often be observed at Dragoon Lake Dam at night enjoying the vista. A woman's body having a lizard's head was witnessed studying Turpentine Hollow in detail after midnight. When witnessed the ghost came within reach of the bystander who then ran away. No matter what people articulate, this is a horrible phantom that should be shunned.
