Friday Harbor, Washington Ghost Tales | |
|
|
This is an update for the first blair house story: Mimi and I went back up to the Blair house to do some more ghost hunting. We were equipped with a tape recorder, a digital camera, a K2 meter, and my cell phone. Well, we went upstairs into room 6, which was an awkwardly built little room, but eventually ended up with no luck. Then we went into rm 4...and same thing! But, before we left I remembered that my cell phone had a recorder so we would try it once more. I asked ''What is your name?'' to the spirit, and I got a delayed response, sounding like the named Richard when played in normal speed.

So I slowed it down as I played it back to Mimi. In slo-mo it sounded like Cory or Charlie. Then, we left... Well, leave it to Mimi to research the Blair house. And it turns out that there was a man who

lived in the Blair house and his name was Charlie. He had a wife named Shirley. Charlie died of a heart attack. Mimi and I believe that we made contact with Charlie and hope to continue our investigation. We will keep you posted. . Submitted by Kaitlyn
I have only had one experience in the Blair House, but one I will not forget. It started simply when I was with my friend (I will call her Mimi) and we were walking up the stairs, to the second story. You see, the Blair House is the oldest house in Friday Harbor, and it was a Bed and Breakfast until Spring Street School purchased it (or maybe

they are renting it, I'm not sure) as a dormitory in Summer of 2007. Well back to the story. I was also with my other friend (I'll call him Jimmy). Jimmy was in front of me and Mimi was behind and we
were going upstairs. All of the sudden my heart beat a bit faster and I ignored myself, because sometimes my imagination goes a little wild. Then Mimi started crying randomly when we got to the top of
the stairs. I later found out that she experienced what is known as a ''walk through''. This is when a ghost walks through you and you feel very mixed emotions; the emotions of the spirit. After that,
Jimmy was standing by room #6 and I heard a knocking. I asked him why he knocked on the door, but he swore it came from inside the room! I don't know if he was trying to scare me or if he was telling
the truth. I think he was just trying to creep Mimi and I out. Of course, upstairs, there are international students that live in the dormitories and one of them (who is Korean and no one can pronounce
his name so we call him DH) had a key to one of the rooms. Unfortunately, it wasn't room 6, but room 4. Mimi, Jimmy, and I (let's call me Kaitlyn) thought ''what the heck, we have nothing to lose, let's
go ghosthunting'' so we went in the room without DH and sat in the closet in a circle holding hands. (Mimi and I both have a slight ''sixth sense'' and felt that the closet had a strong vibe) We asked
if a ghost was present and if it was, to move something to prove its presence. Well, needless to say, nothing happened. So we left the room. But, as we left the room I noticed something different: the
lampshade had been moved! I told Jimmy and Mimi and we got the heck outta there! We were very scared. The End. Hope you liked my experience. . Submitted by Anonymous (aka Kaitlyn)
Roche Harbor
Resort - The Mausoleum by the cemetery in Roche Harbor. There are stories that late at night on a full moon you can walk up the long trail that leads to the mausoleum and once you get there you can see
the six people that are buried under the seats around the table will be sitting there laughing and talking. Other stories about are ones that are told that when it is raining you can go up there sit at
the table and even though there is an opening in the roof of the mausoleum no rain will come in. I've been there and it feels like many eyes are watching you but no one is there... Do the image search
''Roche Harbor Mausoleum'' You will probably find pictures. It's a creepy place... Submitted by anonymous
The Friday Harbor Labs have a dining hall that is haunted. Shadowy figures and other
paranormal activity can be seen only out of the corner of one's eye. In the dining hall, the doors open and close by themselves and other creepy things happen. Rumor has it that the labs are built where one or more Native Americans are buried. Submitted by anonymous
