My uncle told me this story of when he was at the Dewatto River and was fishing in one of the most deserted places of Washington. Anyhow, he said that he took a break and looked over ahead of him and saw a Colonial family walking to the mouth of the river. He waved but they didn't turn to him, so he went back to his fishing. About an hour later he saw the family standing in between two large trees, and that they were all raking leaves. He got into his truck and drove off, when he looked back the spirits were gone. Then he found out that Dewatto translates to ''the deranged spirits live at the mouth of the river''.

I also believe in guardian angels. I found myself stranded one day because of vehicle problems in the middle of nowhere and so isolated that few vehicles very seldom came that way. I remember looking around thinking to myself I had to either walk for miles to get help or just sit there and pray.

Suddenly a farm truck showed up right in front of me then an elderly couple in a pickup showed up too. It was such an isolated area and they all told me they had just felt the urge to turn on that road for no reason at all.
I believe all three of those people were sent to help me or maybe they were guardian angels.

I was in a car accident 10 years ago. It was at 40th and 70th. As my car went off the road I was headed for a tree. I knew if I hit the tree that it would send my car engine into my lap. Suddenly a man stood up from the bushes he was of average build he wore a faded plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up.
