La Center, Washington Ghost Tales

About 5 years ago I moved to La Center from California. I had always been superstitous and believed in ghosts. I had been able to see faint outlines of people and hearing strange things. Whenever I went to a house that I had to sleep or stay for a while, I would always ask if anyone had died in the area or house. I would usually get the answer ''no'' but sometimes see at least one outline. When I moved to La Center, the house was around 15 years old and had only had one pair of owners before us. An ederly couple that had sold the house to us. When we got settled in everything was peaceful. I had asked if anyone had died in the area or in the house and I again got ''no'' and after a few months still hadn't seen any outlines. Then one night, my parents were downstairs watching T.V. and I was in bed because it was a school night but I felt strange and couldn't get to sleep, at around 10:00 or 10:30 I heard footsteps and then a tapping, like someone was tapping on the wall. I then felt a cold breeze sweep across my head. It gave me an uneasy feeling
but the presence I sensed didn't feel like a bad spirit. Then I started hearing a voice talk to me. It was a female voice and it told me her name was Rose. She said she was 15 years old but refused to talk about her death. She doesn't talk to me anymore but she seems to like to read because I find some of my books in different places than where I left
  them.

You may well imagine that La Center, Washington is just like any other town in the United States of America, but struggling ghosts of the past in this town don't appear to plan to pass away. Paintings move around, screams out of the dark. A number of people who live here argue these accounts are lies, but the ghosts of La Center are out tonight looking for someone to terrify.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a waitress is frequently perceived taking pleasure in the scenery at Binford Reservoir Dam very late at night. One thing is for certain, it's a terrifying ghost that any commonsensical person would not want to bump into.

The spirit of an aged Indian chief has purportedly been witnessed on several instances down by the water at Binford Reservoir weeping.
