I couldn't make out any details of the figure, it was just a form with the hall light illuminating it. I yelled out, thinking it was an intruder, and it was gone. My brother asked me from the room next door what the matter was, and told him there was a man in the hall     way. Of course, he didn't see anybody there. Right after we left, a young couple moved in, but we heard later that these people also found the place haunted, and didn't last but a few months.
