I was on my right side facing our 52'' TV when I heard footsteps and saw a shadow pass over my book. When I glanced up I saw a shadow in the TV screen. Since I had heard footsteps as well as seeing the shadow I assumed it was our adult niece who needed something. When I looked over my left shoulder to ask my niece what was wrong it was not her standing there it was a black shadow figure. The edges of     the figure were not crisply defined but you could Tell quite clearly that it was the shape of a human figure. The figure disappeared almost immediately after I saw it.
