Comment by Pamela: As long as children are around the ghost usually won't hurt them. Thank god for some children.
Comment by Wood: I grew up next to this house in the 1970s. There were 2 boys that lived there. They often talked about something taking over there mom and other weird stuff. In the mid 1980s a friend moved there and also saw this woman. They said they could smell someone smoking. I told them that mom Brinken used to smoke constantly in the small room that led to the back porch. The Brinken family moved abruptly. I always wondered if the dad killed the mom and buried her in the crawl space accessed from the basement. I was surprised to read about that house but at the same time was going through the Port Orchard listing wondering if it would be there.
