The phantom of a delivery man was witnessed in Curlew Lake State Park on a dark night burying a corpse by a large boulder. When noticed the phantom approached the viewer who then ran off. Nevertheless, it's a menacing ghost that you wouldn't wish to encounter at midnight.
A gentleman's body with the head of a lizard was seen on the summit of Bald Peak in the early morning hours viewing the panorama. This individual ghost has been seen very often in this place. It has been claimed that this individual phantom can be the spirit of a resident who died here in Republic some time ago.
A womanly person was observed staring

down into the water at Fishermans Cove late in the night. Additional accounts of this spirit have been described.
The ghost of a gentleman hauling a sword has frequently been spotted going through garbage cans on a Republic avenue. According to what the local residents say, this ghost may be a well-known old days dweller of Republic.
A lady with maggots crawling out of her ears is frequently seen in the center of Bacon Creek throwing pebbles.
