A womanly person was observed staring       down into the water at Fishermans Cove late in the night. Additional accounts of this spirit have been described. The ghost of a gentleman hauling a sword has frequently been spotted going through garbage cans on a Republic avenue. According to what the local residents say, this ghost may be a well-known old days dweller of Republic.
