Walla Walla, Washington Ghost Sightings
I was sitting on the chair. Then all of a sudden I heard a creak, so I thought there was a creaking floor, so I just watched TV. Then I heard the creak again, and something fell off my bookshelf.|

Little girl crying in the labor camp. Back in the 1998 a group of us neighborhood kids went on a run by the river we called La Llorona. Moments after we called her name 3 times, a strong wind hit. All the kids started running. I was the youngest and the last. I was 8 that year, and I fell over a bump. My brother came back for me and helped me up, and we both stopped. There was nothing else we could do. We couldn't move. As I looked to my right facing the river in the sky, we saw a lady with no face in a white dress floating. Her dress was flowing in the wind just above the trees. La Llorona has been there waiting for her kids all these years, it sounds. Not only me and my brother, but an older sister and friends that we are still in contact with 20 years later witnessed this. The camp is truly haunted. This is one of many stories from the campo.

Several years ago my husband, children, and I lived in an old farmhouse on South Russell Creek Road, maybe about two miles from the old Stubblefield Cemetery. He and I each had separate things happen to us while we lived there. He worked nights, and I was alone in the upstairs bedroom while both of our small children were asleep in their rooms. The hall light was on, so I had some light coming into the bedroom.
I was looking out the window at the scene of the night lights of Walla Walla, when someone said my name in a low voice next to my ear. I said ''what?'' thinking my husband had come home early. I turned to look, and I was completely alone. He told me later after we moved into town that he had actually seen ''someone'' in the same room watching him while he was in bed, and he said that ''someone'' left the room. We moved out of that old farmhouse a few months later. When we were teens we used to go out to the Stubblefield Cemetery, as many teens did. It definitely had a real spooky feeling about it.
