The spirit of a lady with a bag strapped around her head can every now and then be spotted pulling a body from the freezing water of Ahtanum Creek at midnight. A sizeable terrifying ghost was noticed mounted on a mare alongside a road in close proximity to Wapato. When the eye witness materialized the phantom escaped. A man who lives here asserts that       this ghost is the undead spirit of an old Wapato local person. In any event, this is a bad phantom that you wouldn't want to meet very late at night. The ghost of a bound up man emerged on the summit of one of the hills in the Rattlesnake Hills on a dark night clutching a human headbone. The arrival of the watcher frightened the phantom who   then vanished. The ghost of a youthful lady covered in blood emerged on the pinnacle of Elephant Mountain at midnight staring at the panorama. The ghost mumbled about revenging a murder. The ghost of an aged witch was distinguished hiding a cadaver by a sizeable rock in Fullbright Park at midnight. The bystander got scared and ran away. Several of the folks who live here declare this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Wapato some time ago. A lady's body with a lizard's head was spotted in a phone booth in Wapato making a telephone call. The ghost didn't appear to be worried by the viewers. A half rotten human cadaver has often been perceived flickering a lantern in the middle of a secluded road outside Wapato on a dark night. No matter what people utter, it undoubtedly is a frightening spirit that you shouldn't go trying to locate. A female afire, holding a gas bottle is regularly seen in Brooks Memorial State Park by the park headquarters reflecting. Whichever way, this ghost sure is chilling; one that is rather not upset.
