MIXED GHOST SIGHTINGS
On certain nights, on Stockwell road, near the post office a train whistle can be heard approaching from the south. A ghostly steam locomotive appears pulling a train load of soldiers it passes through on it's way toward Lafayette. Only to vanish at the curve in the railway at crane station. For you see, during the civil war that train had been going to the Union army camp at Lafayette, only to derail at the crane station curve. Today if you go to Greenbush Cemetery in you can find the graves of the soldiers killed in the accident buried right next to confederate soldiers. For Lafayette wasn't a normal army base, it was a Prisoner of war camp.
Sometimes at night walking back from the far away parking lot, a ghost walks me home!.
Not to long ago I was there staying at my grandparents' house. My cousin and I were sleeping in the living room of this tiny two bedroom house. The dog starting barking in the kitchen. We were already freaked out because of some things that have happened there before. My cousin and I looked up and saw a tall man walking into the kitchen he stopped and stared at us. I could feel the goose bumps rising on my back. At first I figured it was my grandpa because he was the only man in the house at the time. The dog stopped barking and I assumed that my grandpa had taken it out of the kennel. I went to go to the bathroom and when I entered the kitchen no one was there! That is one of the many frightening things that I have seen in that town.
In an old stage coach stop in the little community of Viola, a young woman will appear tied to a chair in an upstairs bedroom. She stares at you as if pleading for help.
Off of o.b. groner rd. late at night a car sped upon my car and chased me for two to three miles. I went at different speed's (thirty to sixty) to try to lose them or to get them to pass. When I reached an old pass by the creek the light's and car vanished in my rear veiw mirror.
Many times I have wondered if I am the only person who has seen this, there is a ghost of a little girl she has on a vail, Light color with some kind of design on it. It makes me think that she has been around here for a long time.
I have a story regarding good old Koosharem, Utah that will definitely make your blood run cold! I was a ''student'' for about a year at Sorenson's Ranch School. This is a school for problematic kids to say the least.
Back in 1999. While living in cabin #14, myself and the other room mates, kellen, ryan, matt, and my self. Started witnessing some evil pheonomenon. I felt one day that something was there. Over the first couple of days, the clock radio started acting up. We noticed that it was sensative to our recognition. Being mad, and upset at our incarceration at the reform school we started to egg on the occurence with obsenities etc. Each time we did so, it would continually beep off and on to our taunts. This progressively got worse. This continually got worse for a period of about 30 to 40 days. After the radio, the fan would start to turn on and off. We then proceeded to unplug both the radio and fan from the wall outlet, yet it would still turn back on! We even witnessed the extension cord outstretching by itself back to the wall outlet! We really started to freak out then. We would pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to leave and it would only pound on the ceiling, and walls as if to say don't say that name. It even got to the point were the poltergeist through a collapsable metal chair over my top bunk from accross the room while looking at my other 3 room mates. One staff member I beleive his name was Aaron, witnessed the scratching of the wood and metal bunks while making his rounds. I don't know what the hell happened there, but it was not a good spirit by any means. The staff even accused of summoning the devil! It's a little scarry when the mormons start talking about talking to the Catholic church for help. I see many ghost shows, and have heard many stories. What I experienced there has stuck with me ever since. I promise on my soul that these events took place, and would like to see some type of investigation take place as to why at this location.
I recently visited the Portland home of a family who had lost their 18 year old son in 2006 due to a car accident. The mother grieved terribly the loss of her son, and the depression she had was very evident. She got up to walk to another area of the home, and when she walked back, mumbled something regarding her deceased son. When I looked at her, I saw the apparition of a young man, teenager age, with dark hair standing very close behind her. He looked at me and smiled. He had his hands gently placed on the mother's shoulders. I was stunned. When the mother sat down on the couch, the apparition continued - then sort of (for lack of a better term) blasted apart on the wall behind the couch. I was not scared or fearful. It seemed like this apparition was there to help and protect his grieving mother. I have always been blessed with second sight, but hate to admit it due to criticism. This sighting however, was very touching.
My cousin and I, while fishing off of the bank of Normandy Lake one night, witnessed a light disappear from the bank to our right into the water. After about an hour, the light re-emerged and floated about 3 ft. off of the water's surface. Over the course of the next 3-4 hours, the floating ball of light entered and left the water several more times. A co-worker of mine, a long time resident of the area, told me that a young girl had walked into the water and drowned herself in that exact location several years earlier.
At night you always hear footsteps when clearly everyone is still sleeping. Out of the corner of your eye you will sometimes see figures run past you. You will also sometimes just hear running. Usually, what looks to be a boy maybe a girl around the age of 5, stands at the foot of the stairs with a puddle of water around it holding a blanket. There was a fire there in the 40's, so it's possible that the boy/girl died in the fire.
I'm seeing a guy that says his name is Frank but no one sees him but me an my uncle Rick. He has a screw driver in his head and is always carrying a dogs head. And that dogs head was stapled to his hand and the dog would still bark and growl. We saw this ghost in his house in uniondale.
A few years ago, I attended one of the high schools in Great Falls. I was involved in drama and theatre, and spent quite a bit of time in the beautiful theate area of the high school. There was a story going around of a haunting in the theatre, but I never believed it. The haunting was said to have a name, ''Ida.'' I didn't believe it, Until----------? one day, we were setting the stage up for a play. The stage was strewn with equipment, props, and materials. I boldly exclaimed ''I don't believe in ghosts, and I don't believe in Ida.'' The whole area grew strangely silent. A board levitated from the floor, then hurled toward my head. It missed my head by an inch or two. The board slammed against the brick wall, and shattered into several pieces.
I was terrified, and my legs were shaking so hard that I had to sit down. Now, I and everyone who was present very much believe in ghosts, and we will never taunt ''Ida.''
I would not advise anyone making such a statement in the high school theatre. .
One day driving over the 210 bridge coming home from work, I saw a young man wearing a blue jacket and a baseball cap walking up the bridge. I thought it was very strange because Ive never seen anyone walk on the 210 bridge it's very dangerous. So I decided to look back in my rearview mirror he was gone. I believe he was a ghost.
I was in my bathroom, just got done taking a shower, and when I opened up my closet door...this white-like mist rushed out of there. From the closet!! and my dad told me, that there was somebody that died in that closet!!.
At a Theatre Complex in Canton People have reported seeing a young girl, hearing footsteps in the hall when no one is around, apparitions appearing in both dressing room bathrooms, along with other numerous experiences.
Ok I am ten years old and I have a a million ghost stories. Ok here I go. One time I was cleaning my room and I was crying because I felt like a million people was watching me. So I kept looking around in circles and kept crying and then it got scarier. Then I saw shadow so then I ran out of my room and cried to my dad and said there is ghost in my room. He thought I was weird then later he was teasing me. I said ''Dad, stop''. And more weird things was happing. And that's my real story.
It was 3:00am and I could not sleep. I got up and walked into my guest bedroom. As I walked in a tall dark shadow walk out. I feel ice run threw my left arm, shoulder, and ear as it passed by me. As I turned to see where it went, it turned to look right at me. It took three more steps keeping it's eye on me and then disappeared. I could not see the details of it's face. I did see the outline of the long jacket (?) and brimmed hat and when it turned to look at me... I felt the air freeze in my soul. Not only do we sense them, and they sense us.
Currently in a different home; again it was 3:00am (hum... ) I was woken up with a deep eerie silence that felt thick in my house. I got out of bed and walked threw my home. As I came up on the family room area, I could hear someone of heavy weight walk upstairs. I knew it was not in human form and it knew I knew it was up there. As soon as I began to pray out loud, it stopped walking. The only way out of that room is by the stairs which are in the family room... Where I was standing. Well... It never came down the stairs and Thank GOD and the dark feeling in my home left along with the creepiness.
Moral to my story... Prayer is truly powerful and it works when all else fails. .
Multiple people in my house have seen a man walking around and sometime peering over a bed in my house. He is always seen wearing a top hat, but has never confronted us. I have seen him walk across the dining room and my sister saw him upstairs in her bedroom by the closet.
I was in my room and heard someone or something call my name and it sounded like my aunt Laura which passed away on Feb.. 24,2008.i remember her sayings to me that she would see me again. So I turned around and saw her in her favorite shirt. She walked up to me and said I love you with all my heart. I started to cry and she touched me and said Morgan please don't cry. I looked up and she gave me a look at heaven. I saw my whole family that died. So please listen to what sprits say and do it.

Two mornings in a row, around four am I saw a man standing in my yard. He seemed to be wearing animal skins as a coat and he had no head. He was carrying what looked like a staff. It was eerie. I went out on my porch and he didn't move. Needless to say I hurried back inside. Could you let me know if anyone else? has seen this? Thank you.
The restat building directly east from Holy Angels catholic Church has a small window on the very top floor. At night a dim red light can be observed reflecting the shadowy figure of a janitor hanging himself.
Minter Mansion encounter. In the summer of 1970, I was employed with my buddy in remodeling the William A. Minter Mansion into an architect's office. Once we had moved sufficient tools & supplies, hardward, etc. into the mansion, our employee asked my friend and I to sleep in the south bedroom upstairs to monitor any vandals or tennagers taking a unauthorized ''tour'' through the mansion. Things were very quiet until 3:30 am, when the heavy wood solid door on the north bedroom (which had settled deeply into the floorboards over many decades in the abandoned mansion) suddenly slammed shut, ripping the top half inch off the floorboards. This made an enormous sound, waking us both up. We made a quick flashlight inspection. Upon sighting the horrendously damaged floorboards, we left immideately & refused to ever sleep there again. There were other incidents regarding the upstairs attic/bedroom which were too disturbing to discuss even today, 38 years later.
One day while I was visiting my sister in Hugo she wanted to go for a walk so we went down Fallon Road and about 30 minutes into the walk we saw a woman walk across the road to an old abandoned house she looked so real but she was wearing a old dress so I walked across the road to the house and when I got in the house I met the ghost face to face her eyes were hot as June and her hair was a deep black.
People who live In Tivoli Know about the abanded old house. people claim that they often see lights flickering on and off and they also claim to hear voices when they walk by the house.They also say that the house was once owned by an old lady with her 2 children.
There is a huge field behind our house. We saw figures of a little girl. There is a history of a girl named Polly which we think is the little girl. Whenever we see the little girl there are 2 nuns behind her.We saw her do flips. We saw flashes of lights and glowing eyes. Four of the girls saw the figures but two of them didnt. The other figure they saw was what looked like a normal person just standing behind a tree with its head watching us. The two girls didnt see that either. There is at least 30 or more.
