Actually we are not from the Avon area, but we do know of it. I now reside in Winsted, Ct. Approximately 16 years ago my mother and father moved into a house which was used for a farm house, and later a chicken hatchery. The history of this house goes back 120 years. The recent family has had experiences like closing doors, lights turning on, and footsteps upstairs over and over. Though the family living there now is not sure of its history, they plan

on looking over old records of the property, and history of the land through the public library, our old town records.

There was this motorcycle accident on the bridge about 20 years back where a motorcycle was hit by a car and the driver of the motorcycle ended up flying into the river and died. Well since then you can sometimes see kind of like a cloud flying from the bridge into the river below.
