Last night we were going home from Bradley International airport going on Rt. 318. It was a very dark road. No houses. No lights. Just woods. Suddenly headlights were blinding us from behind. At first we sped up a bit, but it was very dark and winding. The car just stayed right on top of us. We then slowed to let it pass, but it wouldn't. We slowed to a crawl, and it still wouldn't pass. By then I was so scared. Not knowing why it wouldn't pass us.

were no side roads. No houses. No other cars on the road. I am still completely freaked out by this. Has anyone else seen anything like this???.

Comment by Cyndi: Yes! This has happened to me 3 times now! I'm coming over the dam going to Windsor Locks at night. No cars around. Nothing. Then out of nowhere a car will appear and come flying up behind me, tailgate me for a bit. Then it just seems to disappear. There are no side roads until you get to the very top of the very long hill. Man, I thought I was the only one that experienced this! Wonder what happened?.
Comment by George: We had the same experience on Route 9 in the late 1980s coming home at night from family cottage. It passed us eventually but disappeared. It happened in the dark spot in deep River section of Rout 9. We were heading north. I think it was a Mazda.
