Heard a man's voice in the woods -newtonstreet. Berlin CT- kept saying his name was jack. Saw a shadow and heard a gunshot….

In the wooded area by Middletown Road there was a murder about 50 years ago. A young man killed another young man over a young lady and buried his body in the woods. He didn't bury it very well though since he wasn't well prepared for it and the body was soon found by some local kids and the killer was caught.

But that was not the end of the story. The man who was killed came back to haunt the killer. The killer died very mysteriously in prison but it was ruled a suicide. After that the ghost went back to haunt the scene of the crime and has been doing so ever since.

People have reported sightings of him in those woods for the last 50 years with no signs of slowing.
