Actually on the way to Chester there's an abandoned farmhouse. About 50 years ago when I and my parents went through it, we heard heavy footsteps coming up the back stairs. The house was completely empty at the time; it remains empty since. The room where we were when the footsteps approached had a closet with a black robe hanging in it and pictures. It was when we began to look at the pictures that the footsteps started their ascent.
