I live in a haunted house. The son of the former residents took a drug overdose at 21 while in California. The family left because of the ghost, but we were not told about it. At a party after I moved in, residents asked how I liked the house. I said ''well, you'll think I'm crazy, but it's haunted.'' Their answer, ''don't worry! That's just Larry. He won't hurt you.'' Unfortunately, Larry haunted us for 20 years: breaking windows, knocking me down,

and chasing my young daughter down the hall. He seems to have finally moved out. Unexplained noises and other ''events'' have stopped with the exception

of multiple orbs visible in pictures from certain rooms.

Colchester is home to an abundance of paranormal activity. Peck Lane has offered me some of the most horrifying experiences of my life. Orbs, full body apparitions, objects moving, disembodied screaming and voices, being touched, footsteps all around the inside and outside of the home. That is a short list of the paranormal experiences myself and more than a dozen witnesses have had at the house (which is severely deteriorated currently) and on the property.
