I lived on Main Street in Collinsville, CT. The apartment was above the hardware store. We always hear bumps and creaks but didn't think too much of it. One night I was walking in the hall. All the hair on my arms stood up, and I bumped into what seemed to be a wall! After I regained my balance I was able to continue to walk down the hall. Submitted by Charlene

Heard it tonight going all the way up the now abandoned tracks from Unionville to Collinsville. Train whistle no doubt about it, full moon too. Must have sounded at least a dozen times. Glad someone else has heard it.

Comment by Anonymous: I hear a train horn every night at exactly 8:02 where the tracks snaked through the Satan's Kingdom Gorge. Go listen to it yourself. You won't be dissatisfied. Happens every night without ever missing a night at exactly 8:02.
Comment by James: Anyone else hearing this?.

I lived in Collinsville (actually Burlington according to the boundries but I could spit and hit Collins company from my house). We lived on Burlington ave across the street from St. Patrick's church and mere feet from ''the trestle'' (the old train bridge that goes over the river now a bike/hiking trail).
