I grew up in New Haven, CT on Maple Street. We had a ghost in our house all throughout my childhood. I would wake up sometimes and see a figure standing in my room, I would scream and run to my parents. They of course told me not to worry, that it was only a nightmare which made sense of course. But this continued well past my early childhood. When I was 9 I switched rooms with my sister and I stopped seeing the figure. But my sister on her first night in her room saw it and she refused to sleep in that room ever again.

I was walking past the New Haven Green one night going to catch the last bus back to W. Haven around 9:10 pm. And I saw a young woman in white walking through the green soaking wet from head to toe. She was crying so I went to ask her what was wrong, but as I got closer she disappeared into thin air.
