Mohegan Avenue on CC campus -- definitely haunted. Nightly footsteps sometimes stronger than other times -- and not just creaks of the floorboards! Also at least one apartment in the ''Lena Building'' in downtown New London is haunted. Don't know if that building is still there.

Connecticut college, several sightings of a spirit Ruth inside Palmer Auditorium still wanders the building. Freeman dormitory and Knowlton have students of long days gone by still living there. One instance a tragic young girl hanged herself on campus.

In the arboretum on Gallows Lane, you can still hear the screams of a woman that once swung from the gallows.
